I couldn't decide which paper cutter to try so I chose this one because I didn't want to pay more than a hundred dollars for a paper cutter. It suits my needs perfectly! I just wanted to try making my own agenda paper using a magazine punch I found at Revain and this paper cutter does the job perfectly! It easily cut 8 sheets of printer paper (sometimes I had to cut and then lift back up to go through all the sheets). I value the safety of my child who cannot reach the blade with their fingers as the bar does not rise. It allows for slight up and down movements to adjust and fix your page(s), but not enough to get your finger underneath. I wish it had more grid lines across the entire surface of the square, not just around the edges. Also, I took some planner dividers (thin but strong plastic dividers) and used them to cut them to size and it got the job done neatly and easily!
