I have an average. I'm glad I did. A smaller one would be too tight. I vacillate between small and medium. They are knee tight, the material is soft but not oily. The creaking is flattering. But the V-shaped belt. I think I'll do without if I order again. He didn't throw up like he should have. It was a little looser than the rest of the material and formed on its own. Not a fan. Worth the money for everything. Just put on normal slim-waisted ankle boots.
