6mm works well and increases the field of view over the standard

I used 6mm and it works great but is comfortable. I moved the lenses as close to my face as possible and the field of view (FOV) was very good compared to the standard and I didn't notice any loss of light. I haven't tried glasses, but I suspect you won't notice an improvement in field of view since face pillow thickness isn't the limiting factor in allowing screens to get as close to the eyes as possible.

Pros

. More comfortable. Designed specifically for the HTC Vive Pro, the pads are made of foam that covers soft, smooth, and non-sticky skin for excellent cushioning and comfort.
