I ordered spa chocolate twisted together from dark brown and light blue yarn (if you're interested). From a distance it looks almost gray or blue, depending on the lighting, and I'm happy that it fits perfectly into my existing interior. I'm waiting for the rest of my new furniture to arrive and this is a great footstool and extra seat to fill the gap. I might order a few more. This is not upholstered furniture. It's quite strong and the yarn is more like a rope. If you are looking for something soft I would choose something else. So far my cats haven't even tried to scratch it. I was a little concerned that the rough surface might encourage them to sharpen their claws on it. But for now, they don't care!
