These were great. I bought a dual hitch extender to haul a trailer and hold a bike rack. These were awesome to hold the hitch tight and snug. The lower hitch spot was too close to the upper spot so when my trailer slid in to get on the ball the top lock pin hit the bike rack and locked down before the hitch lowered onto the ball. The quick fix was to take the top tow hitch tightener off - pull the hitch - put the ball into the receiver then roll it forward back into the the 2" hitch receiver - quite the work around but the top tow was easy to release and re-attach in that situation. Repeat at campsite to take it off and put back a few days later then off at home. Solid
