Review on 🐦 K&H Pet Products Thermo-Perch - Heated Bird Perch in Small Gray by Tina Stamey

I have bought several heaters from this brand. One died so I bought another one. This updated version arrived today and we installed it (small for my eclectus) and it's so hot I can barely touch it. There's no way I'm going to let my bird get to her. a possibility of wrapping it in cloth to see if that helps. if not, i'll be back. but I would say DON'T BUY THIS FOR YOUR BIRD. .that's no small feat. too hot! UPDATE: I took the fleece material and sewed a DOUBLE layer around it as if it were a snug fitting glove. I turned it on and it helped very little, but I'll still say it's too hot. NEW DESIGN DOES NOT HAVE PROPER TEMPERATURE CONTROL INSIDE. something is clearly wrong with it. I ask you all not to trust and just put it in the cage, check if it is very warm and return it! They will hurt your bird paws.
