So I bought this for my brother as he rents a room in an old lady's house where the modem/router is quite a distance away and he has to cross a lot of walls before he can get into his room . The speed there is 25 Mbit / s, and he received maybe 2.5. Where it turned 10 was a repeater but I chose to install this small grid where I placed one on top of the router and the other node on a small corner table in the living room which seems to have almost no glitches before reaching it . Door. So he scores 19-22. I'm good with it! You just have to understand the instructions a little - the node on the router must be switched to INT mode on the back. There must be other nodes at the access point. I tested them in my house where I have 1 Gbps: a node on the router put out about 540, a node a fair distance away, about 25+ feet, and through some walls it put out about 30. So the antenna performance is not that great. However, they work better as a repeater.
