Great for many uses. It may seem strange, but I actually bought this tool to sharpen the claws on our dog's fingers. I first bought a $30 Sunbeam unit from a local pet store, and it died just out of warranty, so I didn't want to buy another of those cheap pieces of junk again. A little tip if you're using this on your dog is to do it slowly and switch your fingers as you cut, as the dremel won't slow down and will generate a lot of heat which your dog won't like. If you do this slowly, your dog won't mind and you actually have a tool that will be more fun for your dog, apart from the fact that you can also use this tool for many other things that I can't mention here. This Dremel is a quality tool and you won't regret buying it.
