Review on ๐ŸŒž Mineral-Based Broad Spectrum Sunscreen - Dermatologist Recommended & Water Resistant by Irene Rodriguez

Too expensive

I love Elta MD products and have been using sunscreen for over 40 years. I bought it because I like the high sun protection factor and because it is odorless, which is important to me. I don't like zinc oxide, it's great as a sunscreen because it always stays thick and white. This is no exception. Remember those photos of badass ski instructors with thick white goo on their noses? It's zinc oxide. This is the best sunscreen, but it's hard to work with. The worst thing you can do to your skin is rubbing and tugging. Unfortunately, if you're wearing a high SPF zinc oxide sunscreen, unless you want to walk around with a white film on your face, you have to. Not me. This product is a thick cream. I rub it between my palms to warm and soften it before use, but it's still thick and white and needs a little rubbing to make it go away. Not for me. I have Elta MD Broad Spectrum SPF 40 in a 1.7 oz. pump bottle. This is also Zinc Oxide but it is looser and I prefer this one. I'm willing to go with a lower SPF to protect my skin from chafing.
