GOOD TO CHECK FOR VACUUM LEAKS
Those rubber bushings are one thing to check. They become hard, the rubber deteriorates and sometimes gets into the engine. Many people simply swap out the PCV valve and plug it into the old socket. It's not good and they still have an air leak and wonder why the engine isn't working properly. It's much cheaper than OEM prices.
