Much stiffer and harder to snap in than OEM

At first it seemed like a direct replacement as the OEM is also made from fairly cheap plastic. At first I noticed it was stiff in operation and thought it was going to wear out. I was wrong - this thing is so hard to open and it's only getting worse. Today it stayed extended and I had to push it. I use the back door almost every day so it's starting to get annoying.
