Not used yet but has a thin weak blade and does not close smoothly - you have to point it into the slot to close it. I feel like when using this I have to move slowly and carefully so I don't bend or break the blade. It is 12 inches closed and 22 inches open. The blade locks in 2 different opening positions and there is a thumb button to unlock the locking mechanism. In the first position, the blade is inclined in the direction of the downward curve of the handle, in the second it opens wider, namely more than 180 degrees (after a straight line), which can lead to excessive stress on the pivot point. The handle is thick. Hard plastic with rubber insert. The whole thing is pretty big, and the handle is almost too big for my whole arm to wrap around. The texture of the handle is pleasant, but it's square and uncomfortable in the hand. Overall the handle feels solid and well priced, but the blade feels too fragile to be a useful tool.
