GREAT MIRROR FOR HYBRID AND ROAD BIKES

I LOVE THIS MIRROR! I first fitted one to my Trek hybrid and was so pleased I bought a second one for my road bike. Truck driver I attach great importance to mirrors. For me, the quality of the glass, freedom from distortion and stability are very important. Straight handlebar, it's well positioned and extends just far enough from the end of the handlebar to keep my hands out of the way. I didn't think I would like this because of the mirror position on a road bike. I've seen a lot of road bikes with smaller faired mirrors so I bought one of these but I didn't like how small the mirror was. and how fast it came. So I bought a second mirror, round and larger, and attached it to the side of the end of the handlebars just so it would get in the way of my hands as I lowered myself onto the end of the handlebars. In desperation, I removed this mirror from my hybrid because I needed something for my trip that day. and it works great. When I grab the end of the bar in drops my forearm can block the mirror a bit, but when I hold my elbows it's fine. A good size allows me to see what's coming and how fast, how far away it is from me. Stays stable for a good clear view. Easy to assemble, comes with 2 sizes of knurled rubber inserts. You choose which size works best for the inside of the butt of your rod, tighten a little before inserting so it slides completely but offers little resistance, and once fully inserted simply twist by hand, to fully tighten it. You need to make sure you tighten it fully otherwise it will wobble on a bumpy road and may fall out. I've noticed a few negative reviews that mention vibration and hair loss. It must be fully tightened or this will happen.
