Save a life/wallet! - Exhaust & Emissions

Great and innovative product! The last thing I wanted to do was take my exhaust manifolds off and try to get the broken bolt out (I didn't want to pay $1200 or so either) to have the shop do it. That's why I chose this one. I saw this type of product originally from KralAvto, but the Dorman was slightly cheaper, the only significant difference between the two brands is the end of the "clamp" screw. Kral welded a nut to the end of the "hold" bolt, I think to increase surface pressure, Dorman is just a straight bolt, not a nut. Anyway, mine took about half an hour to install, at night with flashlights (I'm impatient, can't wait for the next day!) Some motors may have been so rusty that I literally ripped it off with my hand, which was im Was gone. Another thing I want to say is be VERY VERY CAREFUL with the GAUGE TUBE! You will need to unscrew the dipstick tube bracket to manipulate the dipstick tube a bit to insert the bracket screw. Chances are, like mine, the pipe has a significant amount of rust/rot at the junction of the pipe to the manifolds. Be careful when handling the hose! With that it was installed and no more tick-tick-tick! Excellent goods. I will keep everyone updated should anything change soon.
