It didn't cost much money so I think it's all right. I expected something more. I dropped it on the counter and the spout handle broke. The whistle is gone too. Wow, it's been a week. Now kids forget to turn off the stove and boil water because they are kids, that's what the whistle was for. It could only be done a little bit better, less plastic would help a number of things, the gas cap should be metal and maybe a bit of plastic on the end of the lift handle to keep it cool. Just bad design in my opinion. The metal is a bit flimsy, it's a disposable block, you won't pass it around like an old granny's teapot, that's for sure. Would I buy it again? No, I would pay a little more and find a better built one.
