Review on πŸ”Œ SunFounder 5V 8 Channel Relay Shield Module: Compatible with Arduino R3, Raspberry Pi 3, 2 Model B & B+ by Ryan Fuhrer

More like 60-90mA per relay

Description says 20mA per relay but I measure 60mA per relay (JDVcc/5V side only - I use 3.3V for the control side). The pass on the relay says 90 mA each (at a full 5 volts, which you probably won't see in practice). 160mA you mean. Also, the relay jitters when my NodeMCU turns on (partly a problem with the NodeMCU and partly because the relay inputs are inverted), so I added a high-side power switch controlled by one of several stable GPIO pins which allow me to turn off the relay side of the board until the NodeMCU is ready and stable. I assume the rPi will have a similar problem. It was painful. (But it's only a dime, so it would be a great extra feature on the board if they included it.)
