Smell was my main concern after I bought my first silicone ice trays for my RV. They have a "slight" odor when you sniff them, but it doesn't seem to be absorbed by the ice cubes. Their size was perfect for the fridge installed there! I was excited to get them (I ordered the larger and smaller bowls) but found the small ones melted too quickly and the large size was perfect. At least the size was certain on the first try. However, after trying those cheap, brightly colored silicone bowls, I found an odor in the cubes that permeated the drink I poured on them. Googled this problem and found MANY others who found the same thing, so learned the lesson. This time I made "odorless silicone", large cubes (nearly 2 inches) and compact bowls (8 cubes), STACKABLE - PRIORITY. I found the cubes to come out easily, the Glacio gets good reviews and the price is right, so I'm happy to promote the Glacio ice cube trays!
