When I first received the board I didn't have a case and power supply so I couldn't test it right away. I was concerned however when I opened the box and found two bent capacitors still in the anti-static bag and it looked like the bag itself was frayed from mixing in the box or something as there were scuff marks on the bottom . metal at the bottom of the circuit board. I decided to hope for the best and see if it would work once I had everything together. Unfortunately today, after 4 hours of installing, testing, extracting, testing with nothing but the bare minimum, trying to reset CMOS, etc., it refused to boot into POST. The BIOS never booted and no matter what I tried the mobo got stuck in an endless boot loop. I even tried booting it from the case when it could somehow short out the board, but no luck here either. As mentioned in other reviews, ASRock's quality control leaves a lot to be desired. Whilst I would like you to know that I simply have a bad board, which is a common occurrence with motherboards, numerous reviews seem to indicate that this is an issue with this board or perhaps ASRock in general.
