These light strips are great. I put one in the trunk of my car with the same pattern as a very dim factory lamp and that is the difference between day and night as the before and after pictures show. I mounted another one in my truck's center console on a push button switch so the light comes on when I open the console. And I have yet to decide what to do with these two. UPDATE 10/21/19. Two of the four light strips have no or dimmed LEDs. They work but aren't as bright as when they were originally installed. Have not heard from the seller that year without question, the statement about the exchange in the product description.
