Impressed. Simple, effective and inexpensive

Im impressed. I've been seeing things like this for a couple of years now as "professional" models with finely finished surfaces and router bits that cost in the $60-$80 range, and as an avid DIY enthusiast who just doesn't want to pay for their needs. Until I got to the "sarcophagus of the fit" you know the fit barely sticks out of the concrete slab with another fit right on top and you have to cut it off and change the layout. So bought and tested the layout and with no real learning curve felt this would work well for my purpose so I cut the pipe and drilled the fitting into the cement with no drama, glued in the new nozzle and was up and running in minutes Path. Surprisingly simple and straightforward. Yes, you must use a 1/2 inch drill bit. Not necessarily because of the size of the shaft, but you need torque. I used a 1/2" pneumatic drill as I prefer the handling to a wrist-breaking electric one.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not sure
