Review on 🏠 Kasa Smart 3 Way Switch HS210 Kit - Alexa/Google Home, Wi-Fi Light Switch, No Hub Needed, UL Certified (2-Pack) by Joshua Morales

I had to install both switches

For the product itself, it's fantastic. I've installed a single bar before and it worked great so I jumped onto this 3 strip version when I saw the recent price drop. My only wish is that it works natively with Samsung Smartthings (now that I've jumped into that pool too). For now I'm happy with the Kasa app and control my lights via Google/Alexa. The main reason I want to write this review is to provide another data point in the "Do you need to set both switches" question. Unfortunately I had to adjust both switches. My circuit has two 3 position switches with two 4 position switches similar to the SJ review. When I just installed one, the actual switch worked fine to turn the lights on and off, but the switches and app were never aware of the condition. the lights. I found this out because the light at the switch was always on, which seems to indicate he always thought the light was off. More importantly, the app only turns the light on and off on every second tap. Essentially, the light only reacts (turns on or off) when the app thinks it's turning the light on. If the app thinks it's turning off the light, nothing happened. Finally, the only way I could turn the lights on and off was to tell Alexa to turn on the lights. Asking Alexa to turn off the lights didn't do anything. Anyway, everything works great now when I use them as intended. Just wanted to provide more information for potential buyers.
