Perfect size. You need at least 300 balls to actually have a good ball cushion inside. There are 150 balls in the photo. It comes with stakes that can be driven into the ground if you place it outdoors. If a small child is playing in the house, they may continue to tip it on its side. I am very happy with it. My grandson loves this. It comes in a compact zippered pouch. It takes a bit of maneuvering to get it back in the case, but it's not that difficult.
