Review on Bolux 6ft Dog Leash with Double Padded Handles and Reflective Rope - 🐾 Heavy Duty Training Leash for Traffic Control Safety, Ideal for Small, Medium, Large Dogs by Nancy Willink

Fine, but I'm already untangling until I get a dog.

There are many positives to say about this leash, but there are also negatives. Let's start with the fact that the price is good. For what you pay for this is a pretty good leash. The handles snap in well, as does the clasp. Pulling on the handles and clasp gives you a pretty solid construction overall, as well as a soft and smooth feel. The silky soft, high-quality padding on the handles ensures a soft hand feel. I like the double padded handles. If you live in a city, you really need to leave your dog next to you at traffic lights from time to time to avoid getting hit by a car. This harness does just that. This is a perch for your dog. The reflection properties are amazing! I have never seen such an amazing reflective pet product as this one. Thanks to 3M strips I am convinced. Now the cons. It has some threads that come right out of the box. I don't even have a dog yet and I'm worried that she might unravel faster than expected. It seems to have more to do with the padding of the handle than anything overly important to the overall leash support structure. I think some threads can be glued to the fabric to hold them in place so they don't fall apart easily. 3M tape is actually a thin plastic material. It ripped due to some stitching and I'm afraid it will unravel in the near future as the thread holding the strips comes loose. So far everything looks pretty stable. The clasp is a nice solid black but it was already tight and I had to struggle to undo it. The good news is that this can be fixed in no time with some silicone spray or WD40. I used silicone spray and now it works like a charm. No horrible sticking, grinding, or stubborn sticking from what I suspect is paint or rough burrs in the bolt's spring chamber. Now my general opinion. For what kind of leash this is I still think it's great quality for the price. Of course its threads unravel for me in some areas so I could end up with an unhappy article but based on what I see now I'm assuming it will probably last 6 months to a year depending on heavy use will hold. Hopefully longer. If I had any concerns I would be concerned about heavy dogs over 60lbs. Of course it's reinforced, but still I've seen heavy-duty leashes on the market for massive puppies that love to be pulled like horses in a carriage. Overall not bad and I like it a lot. It looks like a great leash and training tool for puppies. I took some close up shots of some of the problem areas that might be a problem for me in the future and also took photos of how good this reflective strip is. I could see those stripes saving a dog's life one night. I hope to test this product and update this review on a real dog soon.
