I misread the product information and thought 2 thermometers were digitally connected. No, they are independent thermometers, one for the fridge and one for the freezer. Of course you can use them for anything else you need to temper. Easily toggle from C to F and toggle off and on. Unfortunately they weren't practical for me because I want the fridge temp to be on the outside of the door so I can see what it is all the time. This is for an RV fridge and I want to control the temperature easily by putting the remote in the fridge and reading it on the door. I will look for another model to satisfy me.
