Based on the youtube video on repairing non-dent dents (PDR) I decided to see what to do with a large dent that caused by someone, namely the rear quarter panel on our car. I was surprised how well it worked. Most of the damage is only visible when looking at the car from a right angle and looking at distorted reflections. I had two problems: 1) the paint was peeling off the edge of the wheel arch; and 2) the slide hammer has no guard/grip and I crushed the fleshy part of my hand between my thumb and forefinger causing severe bruising. Overall, I highly recommend it, but be careful as the slide hammer's design isn't as safe as some of the others.
