No instructions but I was able to assemble it by looking at a picture online; However, the stand was very unstable and wobbly. There's a lot of sag and it rocks. I thought it would be sturdier after mounting the bikes but it still rocked back and forth and the mounts are difficult to adjust. No matter how I tried to distribute the weight, he always leaned sideways and almost touched the floor due to the play in the joints. After just a few kilometers I had to stop and change lanes because the constant movement of the wheels made the upper bracket vibrate upwards and the wheels almost fell over. I've re-tightened the braces as much as I can, but they are difficult to tighten. The locking pin is difficult to insert into the hitch pin due to the location of the safety hooks which make it difficult for the pin to slide through the pin. I only rode a short distance but I was very nervous and I don't think I'll make a long trip with this rack.
