I have been knitting for over 20 years and have tried many different types and brands of needles. My favorite needles are Chiaogoo, so I wasn't sure about this purchase at first. I ordered these knitting needles expecting a cheap product that cannot be used. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it and started using it. The Council is a bit dumber than I'm used to. Tips are about as blunt as bamboo. But they still work well with baby size 2 and 3 yarn. Haven't tried any smaller yet. The connections are great! Very smooth and firmly connected. The cables are wire sheathed and very smooth with no memory. They are flexible enough for a magic loop as well as working with tiny baby products. The needles themselves are incredibly light. It was probably the hardest thing to get used to, but now I like it. My hands don't get as tired as they do with heavier needles. All needles and accessories were in good condition with no damage. The needles appear strong and durable. The case is very beautiful, expensive and well made. It's marked in Chinese characters on the front (when I translated it, I found that it said "Knitting Tool Kit" along with the company name and address). I don't mind writing. it's pretty nice. some cheap feeling. Roulette is not true. One inch on her tape measure is actually one and a half inches. Needle size is Chinese size. The scissors can work for several weeks but I believe they will eventually break. The stitch holders are of very good quality, as are the hooks. Spoke size is wrong. I found I got the following US sizes: 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.5, 1, 0, 00. This was for both circular needles and double point. The sizes are printed on the bags but I think they can be removed with acetone. (I will be making my own iron-on fabric labels for printing.) I would like to see these pins in a larger size. The needles work fine. It is very comfortable to knit on, evenly and effortlessly. I would definitely buy them again and recommend them.
