Review on 🔒 Premium DERNORD Stainless Female Thread Handle for Optimal Control and Durability by Roel Lebron

Looks great and solid out of the box. Bought to shut off the coolant flow to my excavator's heater core during the summer months so the cab doesn't get as hot. Screwed directly into the engine block. I put a socket on the end and installed it with my little Dewalt impact wrench. After installation I noticed the grip was loose so I tried tightening the grip screw but that didn't work. So I took it off and disassembled the handle to see what was wrong with it. The shaft that the handle is attached to has somehow gained some play. I adjusted the hex ring in the valve and reinstalled the knob and it was tight again. Reinstalled this time with a wrench but the stem holding the handle was still loose so I readjusted the hex ring but couldn't retighten it. Was very disappointed but as long as it doesn't expire I'm fine. Maybe the initial installation caused a small impact, but I'm not sure. The head never hit the handle and the handle never touched the cylinder block.
