To solve the problem of having to store black water tank fittings and extra hoses in the basement, I bought these brackets and bolted a lightweight but strong "tail box" to my trailer's rear bumper. Brackets are easy to install. , are very strong and attach to any standard 4 inch bumper. I no longer have to worry about storing dirty water tanks in my caravan basement. Now I keep them in my "tail box" in the back of my trailer. The brackets and box add about another foot to the foot and a half at the back of the trailer. If you have a bumper-mounted spare tire, the brackets don't extend much further than the spare tire. I had to move the replacement part to one side so the brackets and box could be added on the other side. Easy to do. Highly recommend them if you need to install bumper box.
