I need to scan about 15-20,000 printed photos to bring them into the present and share them more easily with family. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I could make myself (I wouldn't do 35mm, don't you dare lol). recorded for 2 at a time). at 600 dpi. It takes exactly 32 seconds to create a 4x6 image. Of course, I don't count the seconds it takes me to lift and put the lid down. It's good that I have LOTS of free time (at 20 years old with back surgery and so in the summer I don't have much to do for myself). and I live by the beach lol). I also bought cotton gloves so I don't smudge the photos with my fingers which makes me feel like a "pro" xD. Overall it should take me 75-80 hours of work just to SCAN them (but for $60 it's a good deal!). I still want them to be "retouched" to preserve the slight blemishes that naturally occur in old Kodak photographs. If you have any suggestions for a good software with a good automatic function, please let me know!
