Not very quiet - but this trick helps.
Not very crowded but next to our bedroom so we wanted it quieter. The propeller started rattling after a day, but I read online how to disassemble it and coat the magnetic propeller with unscented petroleum jelly. I was skeptical, but now the engine rumble is NOT audible AT ALL! The water is a little noisy but fairly calm.
