I love these new struts and they are definitely stronger than my aging GM hood struts on my Hummer H3 '07. If you have a Hummer H3 '07 you may want to consider replacing the ball stud attached to the fender. The OEM ball stud is 8mm in diameter for the OEM strut and these new BOXI struts require the included 10M - M6 1.0 ball stud. It is very easy to replace it. If you don't replace the ball joint, the new prop will rock on this smaller ball joint. Another observation is that these BOXI struts have no additional oil damping at maximum extension. This extra oil dampening prevents the canopy from opening when fully extended. It's not a problem, but it is what it is.
