Korean grills get pretty hot, adding a stone makes it possible to cook with two head differences.

Just as you balance the charcoal on a charcoal grill to have two different heating surfaces, one of which is off but still cooking, the stone helps mimic this. It also goes well with tortillas, pancakes (grease them), and also keeps hot dogs and hamburgers going without burning. I think it helps reduce the smoke. Although electric grills produce less smoke than charcoal or gas grills, they can still smoke when cooking heated and fatty foods. I love making Philly Steak sandwiches. I wouldn't recommend putting the cheese on the stone, but putting it on a non-stick coating of thin slices of steak and onion, then further buns get toasted nicely on the stone. Like most Korean grills, they have 8 mini pans. So you can prepare a variety of side dishes from vegetables to eggs to various types of meat. In the dramas I watch, Koreans always have a lot of side dishes on the table, so you can cook whatever you want for the hot versions. All the small pans are non-stick, but if you're making eggs or cheese dishes I recommend at least some butter or olive oil. Keep eggs and cheese away from the stone as they are harder to remove. Alternatively, if you need a surface, you can add parchment paper or a piece of non-stick aluminum foil. highlighted.
