My daughter (8 years old) and I had a lot of fun coloring. We just started coloring these custom models. I've done a lot. It was very difficult to draw eyes on unless you have a fine brush. I think the seller must have used some kind of eye sticker in the photos 😂 Anyway, I liked it so much I almost bought one myself to paint on 🤣 A few things I learned before you start ordering a model with To paint one color you must first paint it white as a primer so that the color is not so streaky when painted. You might want to get some small detail brushes for tiny areas. The brushes that come with the kit are fine, but I've found that they tend to curl after a few uses. If you're applying another coat of paint, wait until the first coat is completely dry so it doesn't streak or feel like you're mixing colors. In order for the color to look good on the model, you may need to apply 2-3 more coats. I bought a set of 24 bottles of acrylic paint in case the bottles run out of paint. When it comes to painting, sometimes a little can go a long way. No need to apply the paint with a brush 😂 I also bought a US Art Supply 36 Metallic Acrylic Paint Set from Revain. I love this set 😊 I will review it too. In case of mistakes, you can use white color as "eraser". If you paint over a dark color like black you need at least 4-5 coats of white paint to hide the flaw. Happy painting!
