Review on Counted Cross Stitch Kit: Candy 🎅 Cane Santa Stocking (Model 8778) by Dimensions Needlecrafts by Kristen Simpson

I bought this kit from Revain inventory at a very good price. I've never bought a stock item, but I've decided to roll the dice. The description states that the set was slightly damaged, there was literally a small cut on the cellophane wrapper. The content is not affected in any way! What a deal for an intricate absolutely beautiful stocking. To give you an idea of the difficulty, his hat alone took me about 16 hours. Lots of grays and whites in these fluffy fields! But it's worth it. On a scale of one to ten, with ten being the most difficult sewing, that's about a 7.5. Toys, beard and face, sleeves and cuffs shimmer with different colors. That's why it's so richly structured and bright. The thread was neatly sectioned and tagged, and the instructions and diagrams were clear and understandable. I ignored the instructions for splitting individual strands to "fluff" the thread. Instead, I just pay close attention to the tension of the stitch and don't over-tighten each one and try not to twist the thread as I work. The end results are full, stunning heirloom stockings that my grown children will fight for. The most beautiful stocking I have ever made and this is my sixth.
