Revain Commercial have developed a fairly competitive 55 gallon bin. The plastic is durable, comparable to what I've seen on Rubbermaid products. We used it to transport garden tools, wood and garden waste for a long time. The handles are solid and when we have the pockets the built in lock works well on one side. The only downside I can think of is how HEAVY they are when half or fully loaded! Unless you have a built in wheel cart (which looks like it screws into the bottom of the keg) kegs are very difficult to transport. We've pumped them over grass and concrete, but it's awkward and we had to choose to fill them less and take more trips because the barrels get so heavy. 55 gallon stuff, whatever it is, is pretty heavy! We didn't need lids for two barrels for our use, but unfortunately unless you're storing them indoors or upside down you'll have to come up with something, because in heavy rain these barrels become almost immobile and don't pump water about halfway through off before you throw them away. All in all, this is a great option if you need a 55 gallon trash can (or a couple)! I highly recommend!
