Review on K&H Pet Products Bucket Booster Pet Seat - Elevated Pet Booster Seat for Improved SEO by Victoria Smith

Looks very safe and great quality (it's not foam!) See photo

I am very happy with this seat and my parrot loves it. I have two pom poms, 4 and 8 pounds. I travel 90% with my dogs and am very concerned about their safety. I received a small one and it's the perfect size! This is my third dog car seat. I also have a Snoozer II Lookout (about $200) and a Pet Gear Luxury Booster (don't use it. Tips ahead and too flat). I bought this for my 4lb Pom Pom (Sparkle) but the 8lb (Bling) will also fit (but not together). Twilight decided that she no longer wanted to share a large sleeping observation deck with her sister Bling, and she would push Bling off the edge of the seat. that bend and bling will fall. (see photos). My 4 lb girl fits in small and has lots of extra space including her food plate. Also with an additional room. My 8 lb girl fits but not much space. If I buy her one, I'll buy her a big one. See photos. I prefer this seat to my snoozer for several reasons. I am very happy with the quality. I wonder what it is made of? No styrofoam like others claim. It is a high density, semi-rigid foam. This type of foam is commonly used to protect electronics during shipping. like DVD player. You know. Material that is molded to fit the product and is very difficult to break. However, it does have some payoff. I find this foam to offer the best protection for my dog, even compared to my other Lookout 2 snoozer (which I paid close to $200 for). I feel the high back and side panels offer excellent protection as well. My girl can't fall off her side like she can and does in snoozer. (see photo) Very easy to install on the back seat of my SUV. I chose not to route the seat belt through the loop on the underside of the seat as I want the seat belt to be as close to the back of the car seat as possible - I find it safer that way. I tried to test its forward lean potential by pressing on it after installation and it barely leaned/moved. See photos (I show trying to pull it forward but can't). I also used a carabiner to attach the seat belt to my car seat belt as research has shown that this is the most secure way of attachment. I keep the leash short so it doesn't fall out if I suddenly stop or get hit. I tied it in a knot to shorten it and also to prevent a sharp jerk from lengthening the adjustment slide (in case of an accident). I like the clip from my snoozer better: it seems more durable. I use both harnesses attached to their webbing loops for extra protection and staying calm. See photos. This seat is deep enough for me to exit the bottom cushion. I removed the pillow from the alarm clock because it lifted the girls so high that they could easily fall out. I feel like the nap is just a booster seat and doesn't offer impact protection. The high sides of this chair definitely offer better side protection. The sides of the Snoozer are not connected to the seat back and are made of softer foam that flexes/flexes with the weight of my 8 lb pom pom. For the snoozer I wrapped the strap around the sides to keep it in place and keep my dog inside! There will be no problems with this chair. See photo. The cover is nice and snuggly. Easily removable so cleaning is easy. I also have a large snoozer and this is the seat in the back of my Kia Sorrento and there is room left for a rear passenger. The snoozer is bigger/higher but my little girl can still see out the window when she sits down. I am so happy with this purchase that I will most likely put away my snoozer and buy a large one for my other girl. My only 2 wishes are: a way to attach the food bowl to the front and it would be more secure if there was some sort of loop or hole in the top of the backrest so I could attach it to the car's headrest. so the seat couldn't lean forward at all. I was NOT asked to write this review and I paid for my seat.
