I had a laptop stand from Twelve South a few years ago, but when the MacBook Pro 16 came out they decided to release a new version instead of me upgrading the foam too let insert (dishonest of them). Also, their new version was metal instead of wood and looked too light for my liking, so I started looking for another product. tasteless appearance. It's better than I thought. Not only does it hold my MacBook, but almost any device I want as it's not limited to pre-cut inserts. I don't feel like I'm pushing it as far as I did with Twelve South. Instead, it uses gravity to make it heavier when the device is deployed. It doesn't hurt that it's also an eye-catching frame design. Overall I'm very happy with this laptop stand and look forward to seeing how it changes with my setup.
