Not so long ago, I had a nuisance - the charger from the iPhone broke down, which served faithfully for several years. The husband resuscitated him, but the next day he brought a brand new set consisting of a cable and a power adapter. And to my surprise, he suggested that I try a brand new accessory, and only then be indignant. The Apple USB-C 20W power adapter, like any original accessory from Apple, has a recognizable white packaging, serial number, and a fan of papers and instructions. Inside the box is an additional cardboard form that holds the adapter in place. The Power Adapter is larger than its predecessors, and the standard USB connector has been replaced with a new USB-C input, which means it will also require a new USB-C cable. In the photo below you can see with your own eyes the difference between my previous adapter (on the left) and the new one (on the right). This power adapter is suitable for charging Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad. But for maximum efficiency, it is recommended to use it to charge iPad Pro, iPad Air or iPhone starting from 8 or newer models - then charging the device will be much faster. The instructions even found a description of exactly how to charge the device. There is a note that the adapter can get very hot during use, but this has not been observed for me, it remains cold all the time. You can also find out about the technical characteristics from the instructions. I have model A2347. Today I have an iPhone 8, so judging by the manufacturer's promises, the device should charge very quickly. And indeed, Apple managed to surprise me. In the photo below, I conducted a mini-experiment especially for Otzovik, the results of which are as follows: in 21 minutes, the battery was charged by 23%, despite the fact that I periodically turned on the phone, accessed the Internet, and Wi-Fi worked continuously. On average, the battery is charged by 80-85% per hour, which is quite a high figure compared to the old adapter, which required 2.5 - 3 hours for the same results. Of course, many things will affect the charge rate, for example, the volume of the battery and its "wear and tear”. In my case, the battery is still well preserved and the percentage of effective capacity is quite high. The Apple USB-C 20W power adapter is not cheap, as much as 1990 honestly earned rubles for the pleasure of using progress (and add the cost of a USB-C cable if you don't already have one). But the time savings are significant, and as you know: time is money. I also want to note that original Apple accessories have a manufacturer's warranty for a year. I have never had a chance to use it, as the devices are of really good quality, they work for a long time and efficiently. But suddenly? What can I say, I was satisfied with such a gift, because I really appreciate my time, and my forgetfulness seems to have reached its peak - I can just forget to charge the phone and remember the need only half an hour before going out. And here it comes to the rescue - Apple USB-C 20W Power Adapter. In general, 5 stars from me and recommendations for purchasing, and you decide for yourself whether you need it or better slowly in the old fashioned way. I thank all readers for their attention and wish you only successful purchases! Take care of yourself! And see you again!
