I didn't buy this mouse for general use but for a very specific one. I work from home, so most of the day I sit in a sturdy but comfortable chair. But before and after work I usually sit in a chair so my cat can sit on my lap. After using a standard mouse on the armrest of a chair for a while, my wrist and upper forearm started to hurt. I think it's just the angle that I'm sitting at and my hand is on it. With this trackball mouse, I was relieved of aches and pains while sitting in my chair. I originally used my index finger for the "trigger" but found it fit my hand better if I used my middle finger instead. The only problem I have is that after each mouse, when I turn it back on, it won't connect to the receiver and I have to unplug and plug the receiver back in for it to work. Yes I could just leave the mouse on as I don't think the power consumption would be significant but I think the connection should be detached. I have already asked a question on the sales page and am hoping for a response from the seller/company.
