Review on 🌑️ Cylindrical Laser Temperature Sensor Socket by Aaron Lewis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Didn't work for me

It didn't work for the purpose I was trying to use it for. I bought it as what I felt was an affordable alternative to the much more expensive 15mm deep well sensor socket required for the R&R ECTS (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) on my 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer with the inline 6 engine. (I-6) engine. In short, this socket is too shallow in depth, does not have a sufficient open slot to accommodate the ECTS wiring with little to no crimping, and even then the socket only slides about halfway over the ECTS hex head. For the small amount this outlet cost I will keep it in my tool chest and hopefully find a use for it one day.

Pros
  • Engines and engine parts
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
