Works the same as the more expensive Tone Pads

The only caveat is that this pad is nominal and you actually need a backing plate less than 6 inches in diameter. Otherwise, the backing plate will detach from the clay pad and cause scratches and/or damage to the surface that you are attempting to decontaminate. It would be more valuable if future gaskets were made sized 6.5" rather than the exact baseplate diameter of 6" to create an overlap.
