Review on Makita 164095 8 Fence Circular Saws by George Mendoza

I bought a Makita SH01W 12V circular saw and couldn't find a splitting fence for it anywhere. I called Makita and they gave me this part number as the correct one. They gave me a separate part number for the screw. I ordered it and as expected the required screw was not included. No idea why when something requires a screw it doesn't include a screw.! Makita, charge an extra dollar and turn the screw! Requires an M5x10 screw, preferably a knurled screw, so you don't need a tool to adjust. Unfortunately, metric screws are not easy to find in the US. So I settled on a Lowes M5x12 with a box head. In any case. It fits perfectly on my SHO1W circular saw and works as expected as a cutting guide.
