The description says 4 liters, but today I filled it completely and it holds just over 3 liters. I would send him back for what I paid for but I already have a lizard in an enclosure and he needs moisture to survive. This may be a listing error, but I assume it was intentional. When you fill the tank it will drip when you pick it up from the base so make sure you have a towel with you. Make sure the 3 liter capacity is sufficient for your application before purchasing.
