worked great for me!

Bought a pink flamingo to dye 100% cotton twill to use as a tuxedo style stripe on a cropped sweatshirt I made. I am 90% sure that those with color mismatch issues have dyed fabrics that are less than 80% cotton and even 80% cotton and 20% polyester that to my understanding and research are muted. I have) this dye will not work on polyester and probably not acrylic, technically it should work on rayon, rayon and bamboo as dyes that work on cotton will also work on these. (Although I haven't tried it yet I will be doing so soon with my other pack to dye a 50% cotton 50% modal t-shirt in a Black/Pink/Fuchsian style. I will post a selection, when I'm done) When I dyed the cotton twill ribbon I added some blue (real blue and another brand) to give it a fuchsia tint. (Honestly I don't know if I added enough to make a difference, so the color in my photos resembles a pink flamingo. I would definitely buy this brand again. I've added some photos so you can see the original color of the Cotton twill webbing (white with a slight yellow cast) alongside pink flamingo dyed twill webbing (in real life it's a bit more purple as cameras don't pick up purple very well, but the color in the photo does a very good job of capturing the actual color overall My advice: make sure you dye at least 90% cotton (or something that can be dyed like cotton (easy to see) and honestly if it's not dyed right and the label says it's cotton that Company that made the dyed product probably lied about the fabric content (you can always tell something is actually polyester because it's more than you're used to Similar makes you sweat and keeps you warm e because it is not breathable (polyester needs to be dyed with hot heat, it usually needs better method and difficult to get bright unless you have professional dyeing equipment ), when it says microfiber it's usually always polyester.
