Review on Telescoping Multi Cart Platform – Rock 'N Roller R2RT by Andrew Kay

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Build quality is lacking

I needed a cart to move cases of glassware and bags of t-shirts and such. This trolley should also take up as little space as possible. It seemed to me that R2 suits me. When I received the car, I took it out of the box and put it together. Instructions were seriously lacking, but it was common sense to set it up. My first impression of the car was "a thin square tube with thin walls". After using it a few times and adjusting its length, I added "useless powder coating" to the list of things I don't like. He almost scraped off one of the tubes! So far it hasn't been able to move any of the loads I've asked it to, but it definitely doesn't feel solid. When used as a two-wheeled wagon, the tube that acts as a footrest moves too much in its latches/slots in the frame. It is imperative to use ratchet straps with this item, otherwise simply moving the load may cause the load to shift and become unstable. When set to 4-wheel dolly mode, it is very convenient. I have chosen to leave my plastic bags on when not using them to carry large orders to/from my car. Thanks to the wheels I can move it easily. It is the ideal hardness tester for a wide variety of surfaces. Overall this is a decent little car. If the price was lower I would be happier. It's the quality you'd expect at a port freight store or similar, but it's not worth what I paid for it. Thankfully, it seems easy to change, so that's what's happening.
