Works well in its own socket
Works well as long as only one device is plugged into the socket. Most sockets have two plugs and Australian plugs are quite large. It was often necessary to remove the Australian plug (e.g. of a lamp) in order for the adapter to fit properly. If the rear offset section was 1/4" longer there wouldn't be a problem. Otherwise it worked great.
