Good for broken RV auxiliary pump valves

I have this to keep in my RV for emergency repairs in case my auxiliary pump check valve fails. I've had this before and it's no fun. This should make the repair easier. Although I haven't installed it yet, I've installed all types of Shark Bite fittings on everything from copper to PVC and PEX and I've never been disappointed. I am very confident that this will not be an exception.
