Great for toddlers (even very small ones)!

I just received this yesterday and it's for my 11 month old daughter. She is under the recommended age of 12-36 months so I will update this review once she is a bit older and understands the toy better. But so far we LOVE them both! She was immediately intrigued when she saw it turn on with the test button while still in the box. After opening, I demonstrated how to pour "teaโ€ into cups and "drinkโ€. Her face just lit up and she got the biggest smile ever! She was surprised to find a mirror under the lid; My husband seemed just as surprised, if not more so. Rschunimagu. She dances (sits on the floor and jumps, she doesn't walk yet) when the kettle plays music. She especially likes to "eat" pieces of cake. She also enjoys sharing her tea and cake with my husband and I. :) Things I really like as a parent: I like that there is an educational aspect to it alongside the fun and playtime. a toy. This includes numbers and counting as well as color names. There are some fruits on each cake, so the little ones get to know different fruits. Sharing is also welcome. As someone who can get annoyed by lots of loud toys, I particularly like the toy's volume control. Another reviewer downplayed the toy, stating that it was too loud at minimum volume. I respectfully disagree. I'd say at the lowest volume it's quiet enough for most ears (mine are pretty sensitive). My husband also appreciates the volume control as he is the primary caregiver while I recover from major surgery. Also, none of us found this toy's music and jokes downright annoying, unlike many "talking" toys. And finally, I like that this is LeapFrog. Her older brother got a LeapFrog when he was younger and I was very impressed with this brand. So far these are my observations; I'll have something to add when she's a little older and starts learning some of the more educational aspects of the toy, like naming and counting colors. In general, if you have a baby under 12 months and are interested in this toy, I would say go for it. My baby loves it!
