My cat Fetty in the photos really liked this heating pad! I put treats on her first so she could come over and use a heating pad - she started by sitting on it, then progressed to a loaf and then lay on it. She stayed on the heating pad about 24 minutes last night and 20 minutes earlier this morning. 2 disadvantages I would list for the product: 1. It takes more than 30 seconds to heat up (as described in the instructions) - I set the maximum temperature (about 136 degrees) and kept touching the panel, it took at least 5 minutes to heat up . When I turned on the heating pad this morning it went much quicker, maybe 2 minutes or so. The picture on the packaging does not match the size. As shown in my photos with my 10 lb cat, this rabid cat is perfect for her. It definitely will not fit a golden retriever/large dog as shown in the picture.
